Delete your account

Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open Critter Crew and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
4. Confirm twice. The second prompt is the point of no return.

Your login stops working straight away and you are signed out.

If you have lost access to the app or your phone, email support@curbcritter.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm it is you, delete the account, and reply to say it is done. Allow up to 30 days, though in practice it is far quicker.

What is deleted

Permanently, and it cannot be undone:

• Your login. The account no longer exists and cannot be recovered.
• Your name and legal name
• Your email address and phone number
• Your home address and its map coordinates
• Your vehicle make, model and licence plate
• The device token used to send you route notifications

What is kept, and why

The record of work you actually did stays with Curb Critter, with your name removed from it: service dates, the proof-of-service photos taken at each stop, and the routes those stops belonged to.

That is not us holding on to your data. Those records belong to the households that were serviced and to the business that paid for the work — they are how a customer can see their bins were collected, and how pay already issued is accounted for. We are also required to keep records of payments to contractors for tax purposes. After deletion none of it is linked to you by name.

Payment details are a separate matter: bank account and tax identification are held by Stripe, never by us, and are deleted under Stripe’s own policy. We never see them.

One thing that will stop you

If you are still owed money, the app will not let you delete the account yet, and will tell you the amount. Deleting it would remove the only way we have of paying you. Payouts run every Friday — delete it once yours has arrived, or email support and we will sort it out with you.
