Curb Critter LLC · Sarasota & Manatee County, Florida

Effective Date: August 25, 2026 | Last Updated: August 25, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Curb Critter LLC (“Curb Critter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit CurbCritter.com, sign up for or use our bin valet and cleaning subscription services (the “Services”), or otherwise interact with us. By using our website or Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number, service address, and billing address.
  • Property access information: gate codes, side-yard access notes, bin location, and other instructions needed to perform the Services.
  • Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Curb Critter does not receive or store your full card number.
  • Mobile phone number: collected at sign-up for the purpose of sending SMS service notifications if you opt in to our messaging program.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email, text, phone, or web form.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Website usage data (pages visited, browser/device type, approximate location) via standard analytics tools and cookies.
  • Service delivery records, such as the date and time bins were placed and returned, and — where used for quality/proof-of-service — photos of bins taken by our Service Providers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, perform, and bill for the Services you purchase.
  • To communicate with you about your account, service reminders, and billing.
  • To send SMS text message notifications if you opt in to our messaging program, including service day reminders, route completion alerts, and account updates. See SMS Messaging Policy for full details.
  • To operate and improve our website and customer experience.
  • To manage our zone-partner and referral-partner programs.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect the safety and rights of our customers, Service Providers, and business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your property-access details (such as gate codes) for any purpose other than performing the Services.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as needed to operate the business:

  • Payment processing: Stripe, Inc. receives payment details necessary to process your subscription charges.
  • CRM & customer communications: Zoho stores customer and prospect contact information to help us manage the business relationship.
  • Independent Service Providers: zone partners and cleaning vendors receive only the route and access information needed to perform your scheduled service — not your full billing or payment details.
  • Referral partners: if you were referred to us, we may confirm to the referring partner that a referral resulted in a new customer, for the purpose of calculating a referral fee. We do not share your service or payment details with referral partners.
  • Legal & safety: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers: if Curb Critter is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

5. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Program name: Curb Critter Service Notifications

If you opt in to receive text messages from us during sign-up, we use your mobile number solely to send the service notifications you agreed to receive, including:

  • Next-day service day reminders (bins will be rolled out)
  • Route completion alerts (bins placed out or returned to property)
  • Account updates such as service pause confirmations and billing notices
  • Service alerts such as blocked-access or missed-bin notifications

Your mobile opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

  • Message frequency varies (typically 2–4 messages per service week).
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Opting out of texts does not cancel your subscription. To cancel service, see your account portal or our Terms & Conditions.

For complete messaging terms, see our SMS Messaging Policy.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand site usage and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we use analytics or advertising cookies that require consent under applicable law, we will present a banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain customer information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, and business recordkeeping needs, including retaining subscription-consent records for at least three (3) years. We retain property-access information only as long as needed to service your account and delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period after your account is closed.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including relying on PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe and restricting Service Provider access to only the information needed to perform their route. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Choices & Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, request correction or deletion, and opt out of certain uses. We offer these rights to all customers as a matter of policy.

Our website may link to third-party sites (such as Stripe’s checkout pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; please review their policies separately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last Updated” date, and where a change is material, we will provide additional notice (such as an email or website banner) before it takes effect.
