Curb Critter Service Notifications

Program Description

Curb Critter sends automated SMS text messages to customers who have subscribed to our bin valet and bin cleaning service in the Sarasota, FL area. Messages include service day reminders, route completion alerts, and account or service updates.

Message Types

  • Service day reminder — Sent the night before your scheduled bin rollout day.
  • Bins placed out — Confirmation that your bins have been rolled to the curb.
  • Bins returned — Confirmation that your bins have been returned to your property.
  • Service alerts — Notifications about a service issue or blocked bin access.
  • Account updates — Pause confirmations, billing alerts, or schedule changes.

How to Opt In

Customers opt in by completing the new service signup form at curbcritter.com/signup. During signup, you provide your mobile phone number and check the following consent box:

“I agree to receive SMS text messages from Curb Critter at the number above, including service day reminders, route completion alerts, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, HELP for help.”

Consent is required to receive SMS notifications. It is not a condition of purchase.

The consent checkbox appears on the signup form immediately below the phone number field, before the customer proceeds to checkout.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 2–4 messages per service week depending on your service plan and scheduled stops.

How to Opt Out

To stop receiving SMS messages from Curb Critter at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. You can also opt out by updating your notification preferences in your customer portal at curbcritter.com/portal/notifications.
